A girl has got to eat. Ya feel me?

I will use this page to add any yummy recipes I find or workouts I enjoy. I recently lost 25 pounds through diet and exercise, so I will probably stick to healthier recipes. However, ever so often I like to treat myself to a good dessert.

As far as exercise, I love going to our YMCA. I usually either walk/run on the treadmill or go to classes. I attend Night Club Cardio religiously, but want to start incorporating a variety of classes for an all around better workout. Some of the ones I'm going to try going to more frequently are Body Pump, Cycle, and Cardio Combo. I also want to add in more weight training to get toned. While I did lose weight and have kept it off for about 6 months now, my new goal is to get leaner for the wedding and for clothes fitting better in general.

I also LOVE going to Dance House Fitness classes. Jenny is amazing, and even if you haven't ever danced in your life, you need her in your life.

Sometimes I just take Bentley on walks and that suffices for my daily workout. I try to balance my workouts so that I don't get burnt out. My Apple Watch helps keep me accountable - I usually try to reach my move, calorie burn, and step goal or atleast get close. There are also some great apps you can use to do at-home workouts (Nike, Tone it Up, Couch to 5k).
